Kaduna Agency Recruits 1,100 Health Workers

The Kaduna State Primary Health Care Development Agency, said it has recruited 1,100 health personnel to beef up manpower gaps in the state health sector.

A Deputy Director in the Agency, Hamza Ibrahim-Ikara said this in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Kaduna.

Ibrahim-Ikara said that the Agency had concluded plans and processes of posting the newly recruited 1,100 health workers to the 255 upgraded Primary Health Centres in the state.

He said the recruitment is to strengthen the primary health centres with relevant manpower for effective services.

The deputy director said the recruitment is in three phases and the 1, 100 covers the first batch.

“We shall be conducting the second batch subsequently to boost our health sector,” Ibrahim-Ikara added.

He said the recruited health workers included Nurses, Midwives, Pharmacists, Medical Laboratory technicians and Medical records officers.
