The 2023 PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, Turakin Adamawa, has been said to be the only person to defeat Bola Tininu in 2027, the National Chairman of the PDP One family, Hon Abdulrahman Mainasara Dala, asserted in a press release. The statement was in response to the PDP Chieftain’s utterances against Turakin Adamawa.

Dala emphasised that Atiku Abubakar has the leadership skills to govern Nigeria effectively. As the 2027 election approaches, Atiku is a strong and experienced leader, ready to guide Nigeria to unprecedented success. His leadership would revitalise the economy and position it at the forefront of global excellence.

Dala stressed the pressing need for a president who can unite the nation in 2027, especially after what he described as nine years of divisive APC governance. He firmly believes that Atiku Abubakar, if elected, would bring about a significant economic transformation, enhancing various sectors such as security, health, agriculture, and infrastructure, among others.

Therefore, Dala urged Bode George and all other PDP members to unite and throw their unwavering support behind Atiku Abubakar. He believes their collective effort is crucial in ensuring Atiku’s victory in the 2027 presidential election.

Earlier in his statement, the PDP One Family boss described Bode George as an influencer of regional politics. He said he has never won the PDP’s polling unity since 1999. According to the statement, Atiku is worried about the PDP’s governance, which reinvigorates him toward being on the mantle of leadership to bring everything to order. “It is among these reasons behind our call for Atiku’s candidacy to recontest and rescue Nigeria,” the statement said.

The PDP One Family expressed dismay over the Bode George for a Southerner to contest for PDP in 2027. He saw that Olusegun Obasanjo from the south was a president for eight years, followed by Umar Musa Yaradua from the northern region, who assumed leadership for two years before his demise. Good luck. Jonathan was from the south and governed Nigeria for six years before Muhammad Buhari from the north, who was president for eight years.
