The Executive Vice Chairman/CEO of Credent Capital and Advisory LTD, Dauda Lawal has donated 200 bags of Rice to families of victims of the recent killings in Anka and Bukkuyum Local Government Areas of Zamfara State.
The seasoned banker and politician made the donation through a high-level delegation on Tuesday.
Over 50 persons were reported killed last month when terror bandits raided some villages in Anka and Bukkuyum Local Government Areas of the States.
The delegation was led by Dauda Lawal Campaign Coordinator, Engineer Ahmad Garba Yandi who presented the donation to Alhaji Bashar Musa Anka and Alhaji Moyi Bukkuyum for onward distribution to the affected families in Anka.
Engr. Yandi said the donated food was part of Dauda Lawal’s intervention as a relief to the families of the victims in the recent Anka and Bukkuyum heinous attack.
“It is a relief to cushion the hardship faced by families of the victims following the terror attack by bandits.
“Such intervention will spread all over affected areas within the states,” Yandi said.
Receiving the items in Anka, Alhaji Bashar Anka said that he was impressed by the donation and promised to ensure that the food reached the affected families.
While receiving that of Bukkuyum, Alhaji Moyi Bukkuyum commended Dauda Lawal for the gesture and called on wealthy individuals and corporate bodies to also donate to the affected families.
