A well-known actor, politician, and supporter of the Kwankwasiyya movement, Alhaji Sani Musa Danja, supported the candidate for the Chairmanship of Nasarawa local government in Kano state under the NNPP platform. He has pledged support for the upcoming local government elections in Nasarawa and Kano state.
In a briefing with journalists, he emphasised the unity within NNPP, stating that the party always respects the decisions of its leadership. He highlighted the example of Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the leader of Kwankwasiyya who gracefully accepted defeat in a gubernatorial election and demonstrated sportsmanship by congratulating the winner.
Alhaji Sani Musa Danja mentioned that although he initially wanted to contest for the Nasarawa local government seat, his supporters encouraged him. He emphasised that losing a political race should not lead to bitterness; only self-centred politicians would react negatively to defeat.
Sani Musa Danja also praised Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso’s leadership and emphasised his positive impact in Kano state, leading NNPP to victory in the governorship election. Additionally, he urged the people of Kano state to support Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf due to his commitment to development.
