The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Bauchi State Council has congratulated Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad over the Supreme Court judgment that affirmed his election.
The union in a statement issued by the state Chairman of the Council Comrade Ibrahim Malam Goje, described the judgment as the final triumph of justice and the will of the people of Bauchi State.
The statement said that the judgment had further strengthened the confidence of the people on the integrity of the Supreme Court.
He said that the ruling consolidated the platform for the governor to continue in his commitment towards greater productivity without further distractions from any angle.
The statement expressed optimism that Governor Bala Muhammad will now fully concentrate on his developmental policies and programmes aimed at taking the state to the Promised Land.
