Slow and steady Northwest Progressive Movement is fast moving in sensitising the youths and the stakeholders to think on the best options and ways to deal with our multidimensional problems that hinders our progress. The inauguration of Jigawa State Chapter on the 27th February, 2021 is one of the memorable days and events since the inception of this movement under the able leadership of it’s National Coordinator Comrade Auwal Muhammed.
The emergence of Hon Sale Birniwa, Hon Bashir Taura, Hajia Basira Yahaya and other State and Local Government Coordinators is a welcome development in this movement to benefit from their vast experiences in struggles for the betterment of their people.
This movement had a herculean tasks ahead looking at the socioeconomic, educational, unemployment and security challenges among others.
Now it is crystal clear that we should work hard first to deal with all these problems and comeup with a road maps that will facilitate rapid development of our geopolitical zone and leave a legacy behind for our future generations.
We have all what it takes to pass the current level in terms of human and infrastructural development, but all the opportunities we had in the past and now may be lost because now we are battling with crime, illiteracy, poverty, unemployment, banditry and general insecurities that turns the once most peaceful zone into the most dangerous and high risks zone to live.
For the presenters, they have done a marvelous jobs by enlightening the participants on the importance of unity, economy and power of youths and women in defining and saving our region from the immenant human catastrophe. Our traders can no longer go to the markets, our farmers can no longer go to their Farms, our children are no longer safe in the schools, our Travellers are hunted like rats and back at home in some places our people no longer sleep all these because of banditry, crime and general insecurities. With all these problems in our midst it will be extremely difficult for us to develop. We have no any other options than to think ahead to come with a blueprints to save our people.
