Members of the Kaduna State Law Students’ Association have elected Muhammad Hayatu Balarabe, who was the vice president of KADLAWSA and a 500Lvl Law student from Faculty of Law, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
The development followed the handing over of the former President of KADLAWSA Alkasim Abubakar.
Thus, the election took place on August 18th, 2024, in faculty of Law, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
Muhammad Hayatu Balarabe was unanimously elected by indigenous Kaduna state as the new President of KADLAWSA and in accepting the nomination, Mr. Muhammad said he will continue to uphold the ideals of the association, and urged the excos to work with their best and abilities.
The 2024/2025 excos of KESLAWSA are;
1. Muhammad Hayatu Balarabe – President
2. Nusaiba Muhammad Abdulkarim – Vice president
3. Shama’u Salisu – Secretary General
4. Najib sulaiman Ismail – Assistant Secretary General
5. Yusuf Zakaria mai lafiya – Director of litigation
6. Dalhat Abubakar Dalhat – Financial Secretary
7. Abdullahi Sani – PRO
8. Aliyu Halliru wali – Director of research
Mr. Muhammad Hayatu Balarabe and the excos were respectfully sworn by the chairman of Electoral Commission (ELCOM) of KADLAWSA.
