The Kebbi State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has congratulated Governor Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris on Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary.
In a statement signed by Chairman Comrade Garba Muhammad Yeldu and Secretary Abubakar Attahiru, the NUJ acknowledged the sacrifices of past patriotic leaders and heroes who fought for Nigeria’s independence . They urged Nigerians, especially Kebbi residents, to pray for their leaders to promote sustainable development and unity in the state and country.
The NUJ commended Governor Idris’ administration for its achievements in security, education, health, agriculture, and human capacity within its first year. These accomplishments include infrastructure projects, empowerment programs for women, and support for farmers.
The union expressed confidence in Governor Idris’ policies, predicting they would elevate Kebbi State in the next three years. They called on residents to support the administration in fulfilling its campaign promises.
