FUBK to Honor 3,373 Graduands with Certificates at 1st-5th Combined Convocation Ceremony

Federal University, Birnin Kebbi (FUBK) is set to award 3,373 graduands with certificates during its maiden combined 1st-5th convocation ceremony on October 12, 2024. The graduands have successfully completed their programs and are found worthy in character and learning, according to Vice-Chancellor Prof. Muhammad Zaiyan-Umar.

The disclosure was made at a press conference organized by the university management, which took place at the university’s council chamber in Birnin Kebbi on Wednesday.

The ceremony marks a significant milestone, coinciding with the university’s 10th anniversary of academic activities. Four distinguished Nigerians will receive Honorary Doctorate degrees for their substantial contributions to FUBK’s growth and transformation: Alhaji Saidu Dakingari, former Governor of Kebbi, Alhaji Muhammadu Indimi, Founder and Chairman of Oriental Energy Resources Limited, Mr. Leo Stan Ekeh, Chairman of Zinox Group and Ambassador Alhaji Abubakar Sani (Makaman Sokoto).

The convocation covers graduates from the 2017/2018 to 2021/2022 academic sessions. Graduands can collect their certificates immediately after the ceremony.
