Mediwat computer science school has conducted one day talk on ICT For selected public secondary schools teachers under the sponsorship of Friend of Nigeria.
The programme which held at Mumbayya House attended by over 60 secondary schools teachers selected from various secondary schools.
One of the official of the Mediwat computer Nasar Nashe explained that for many years the school is giving training on ICT programmes with the collaboration with the association of formed by former teachers call Friends of Nigeria some of them have the interest of assisting the education development they have partner with Mediwat computer science schools in sponsoring the training of students on ICT.
They have sponsored the training of students at least four times this time they sponsored the training of teachers as ICT is a modern way of teaching when you train the teachers on ICT it will improve their teaching and they will provide students with the knowledge in modern way.
He said since from the beginning of the sponsorship of the programme over 400 students, whuch includes association of orphans and communities schools benefits.
In this current training for teachers they have invited about 100 teachers and 60 of them attended the one day talk on ICT programme.from about seven secondary schools in the state.
He said after the programme they have been issues the participants with certificate which help them to gain work with it, at now some are now working in different places that deal with ICT.
Nasar Nashe said the Mediwat computer science school is an indigenous school design to asist local community especially who don’t have access to have ICT knowledge.
