Over 253 people benefited from the kind gesture of the Muslims Forum of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, when they roll out the distribution of meat and food items to women in Samaru Zaria community.
Speaking during the distribution, the Amira of the forum, Hajiya Binta Aminu Dorayi, who is also a Pharmacist with the University Six Bay, explain that the Forum decided to buy 2 cows and distribute the meat to less privilege in the community so that they and their family can celebrate Sallah in good mood especially considering the fact that the economic situation of the country is not favorably at the moment.
She said the 253 people were carefully selected so as to make sure that only those that are seriously in need benefited and that they embark on the project purely for the blessing of Allah.
Others items distributed by the Forum include, bags of rice vegetable oil among others.
In her reaction, one of he beneficiary, Malama Ramatu Garba, express her appreciation to the ABU Muslims Forum, and call on other organization to emulate this gesture as it would go a long way in putting a smile on the faces of he less privilege.
