Kebbi State Deputy Governor, Senator Umar Abubakar Tafida, has closed a two-day training workshop for procurement officers of Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) in Kebbi State.
The workshop, organized by the Price Intelligence and Public Procurement Bureau, aimed to equip procurement officers with knowledge and skills to enhance their performance and deliver value-for-money services.
Senator Tafida commended Governor Nasir Idris for supporting the workshop and praised participants for their active participation and commitment to excellence. He urged them to apply the knowledge and skills acquired and champion best practices in their offices.
The Deputy Governor emphasized the importance of strengthening procurement systems, promoting transparency, and contributing to the growth and prosperity of Kebbi State. He assured participants of the state government’s support under Governor Nasir Idris’ leadership.
The training program is part of the state government’s efforts to build capacity and promote professional development in the procurement sector, ensuring effective and efficient service delivery to citizens.
The event culminated in the presentation of certificates to participants by the Deputy Governor.
