A cleric, Rev Tajan Moltok, the Jos Resident Pastor of Shepherd House Assembly International, has called on the people of Plateau State to always comply with government directives on the Coronavirus pandemic.
The cleric conducted the prayers during the church sermon titled; “The mystery of the holy spirit”.
He urged the Congregation to comply with the directives of the government on preventive measures against coronavirus while praying for normalcy to be restored through Jesus.
He also also prayed for exemption against evil situation for the congregation and their household and anointed them in that regard.
“The visibility of the Holy Spirit shall separate you from the evil of the present days,” he prayed.
He said life was spiritual, thus everyone required the holy spirit for understanding and receiving directives in the ways of God and in life.
“At every stage of your life, never depend on your understanding and knowledge only, but rely on the Holy Spirit which is powerful.
“The holy Spirit does not see impossibilities, when confronted with challenges, invite the Holy Spirit,” he said.
“The Holy Spirit leads us in the ways of God, it is a lamp unto our feet and light on our path, work in the understanding of God, it is the best way to work,” he said.
News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), reports that the church, following directives from the Plateau government has provided hand sanitisers at the entrance of the church and arranged seats Two meters apart in the church.
NAN recalls that the Plateau government on Friday directed residents of Plateau to suspend celebration of cultural festivals and anniversaries and directed all worship centres to ensure spacing of not less than 2 metres between seats and to provide running water, soap, and sanitisers at their entrances.
