COVID-19: Bauchi Records Zero Case

Bauchi state for the first time since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the state last February recorded zero percent.

The routine daily situation reports being released by the state ministry of health on its website yesterday showed that the State since Wednesday recorded zero percent of the pandemic.

The report being released by the commissioner of health, Dr Aliyu Mohammed Maigoro also gave five discharged cases. With zero confirmed case.

According to the daily situation reports, Bauchi state recorded zero case, with total discharged cases of 695.

Dr. Aliyu Maigoro also gave the pandemic recovery rate ad 98% and case fatality rate of 1.97%, as compiled by the situation room of the ministry.

Situation reports showed, “Bauchi made history, records first 0 patients in the isolation centres since the first index case. All the remaining 5 cases have recovered and discharged.

“This is the first time to witness 0 case in the isolation centre since the first index case. 5 have been recovered. 0 new case reported.”
