Scores of inhabitants were trapped after a two-storey building collapsed on Amusu Street in the Orile Iganmu area of Lagos State.
LEADERSHIP gathered that the incident occurred in the early hours of Monday, October 14, 2024.
A shocking video circulating on social media captured the terrifying moment the building collapsed, thereby, making people run helter-skelter for their lives.
The footage showed individuals scrambling to get to safety as the structure suddenly crumbled, unleashing a cloud of dust and debris.
It could not be ascertained the number of people in the building when it collapsed.
However, the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), is yet to comment on the incident.
