All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi flagged off registration and revalidation exercise for people who are willing to join the party.
Registration committee chairman during the flag-off of the exercise which took place at Nufawa area of Bauchi metropolis, Alhaji Abdul’aziz Bello explained that the revalidation is open to all members who are interested in the party adding that old members should also renew their registration.
“Anybody who reached the age of 18 is eligible to register as a member of the party. And those who are registered will participate in the upcoming party congresses”, he said.
While promising that the exercise would be hitch free, Bello assured that the party would provide a level playing ground for both old and new members.
Also speaking, the Bauchi state APC chairman Uba Ahmad Nana who commended the national leadership of the party for initiating the registration, said it would give all Nigerians opportunity to be members of the party.
Nana, while pointing out that only registered members could be allowed to vote and be voted for in the party, also explained that the party congresses would be conducted soon.
