Bauchi Senator Buba Flags-off N850m Zaranda Township Road

A two and a half kilometer township off Bauchi – Toro road into Zaranda town construction was weekend flagged-off by Senator representing Bauchi south senatorial district, Senator Shehu Buba Umar at a colourful ceremony held at Zaranda.

Speaking at flagging-off ceremony, Senator Shehu Buba Umar assured the crowded people that work on the project would be completed in four weeks time.

Senator Buba Umar recalled that he promised to construct the road way back in 2023 during his ectioneering campaigns, and expressed gratitude to the Almighty Allah that it is a promise fullfiled to the people.

“Today marks a significant watershed in our four-year journey of our representation of the Bauchi south senatorial district in the red-carpet chamber of the National Assembly.

“You will recall that during my electioneering campaigns at the time of aspiring to become your senator in 2023 I pledged to relentlessly pursue meaningful and life changing projects”.

This pledge, according to the senator, is to provide basic amenities of life common good of his constituents in the Bauchi south senatorial district of the state.

He said: “And I reeoched this pledged during our inauguration at the National Assembly of the 10th Senate during which I swore by the Holy Qur’an to do just and deligently so.”

Senator Buba Umar told his Zaranda constituents that the flag-off of the road construction at a cost of N850 million is the manifestation of the promises he made to them and his Creator, and assured by the grace of God of living up to the promises no matter the destruction by the his opponents.

“In the light of this positive development, this official flags-off of the two and a half kilometer road in this historic town of Zaranda is a tip of the iceberg in the catalogue of programmes we intent to carry out for the benefits of the entire people of Bauchi south senatorial district of the state”.
